From Press Release

Sheriff Harum reports on 11/01/09 at approximately 0150 hours, employees from La Brisa Mexican Restaurant at 246 West Manson Road, #11, reported that a patron had been shot inside their premises.
Deputies and EMS arrived minutes later.
The deceased, customer Jesus Cortez, age 44 of Manson, was determined by EMS to be deceased from multiple gunshot wounds.
Three employees of La Brisa were interviewed. The three stated a verbal confrontation took place between customer Cortez and employee/suspect Javier V. Valdovinos age 40 of Manson. Cortez had been drinking beers at a table with three other men. Valdovinos was working in the kitchen.
Valdovinos came out from the kitchen and asked the men at Cortez' table if they needed anything, as he was closing the kitchen. Cortez made a comment to Valdovinos about where they were each from in Mexico and a feud began over different areas of Mexico.
Valdovinos took the beers away from Cortez table. Cortez made a comment about how much better he was than Valdovinos due to where each were from in Mexico. Cortez and Valdovinos began a pushing/shoving match.
The disturbance was broken up by the other La Brisa employees.
Valdovinos pulled a gray colored pistol from the back of his pants and shot Cortez. Cortez fell to the floor and Valdovinos shot him again. Valdovinos fled the premises with his pistol, driving a maroon colored Cadillac sedan.
Three La Brisa employees confirmed Javier Vargas Valdovinos was the suspect who shot the customer. They all knew Valdovinos since they worked with him at La Brisa. One of the men at the table with Cortez was shown a photo of Valdovinos and another witness/customer also confirmed Valdovinos had shot Cortez.
Valdovinos fled in his vehicle. License plate WA License 312YTQ, a 1999 Cadillac sedan, maroon in color, registered to the shooting suspect.
