Manson Parks Board Winners Lyle Bland, Shannon Byquist-Freels, and Pat Hautenne join in a toast of their victory tonight at Troy's Pizza in Manson.
It was a sizeable crowd that showed up at Troys to wait and hear the results - many who had first attended the special Park Board meeting that was held earlier that evening.

Local Elections mean changes to controversial Commissions
Challengers Rick Nedrow and Bob Gervais defeated incumbent Chelan County District #7 Fire Commissioners Dan Wright and Bob Torgerson. The defeat of Wright and Torgerson will leave remaining commissioner Jim Malvey in a minority position on the 3 member Commission that has been plagued with challenges.
And the Manson Park Board, will see a shift in power with the election of Shannon
Byquist-Freels and Pat Hautenne unseating Hal Killian and Ken Rau respectively, and Lyle Bland elected to fill the vacancy created when former Board Chairman Dave Gellatly's stepped down after a rocky, troubled period in office.
The incumbents to the other contested elected positions in the valley were not unseated by Tuesday's election.
Lake Chelan School Board Director Ken Brunner will serve another term, defeating his challenger Mary Horlebein. Brunner received 720 (58.5%) votes while Horlebein received 510 (41.5%) of the votes.
Chelan City Councilman Skip (Cameron) Morehouse will retain his position with 421 (59%) votes over his challenger Bob Eier with 292 (41%) votes.
And Karl Gaskill will serve on the Stehekin School Board by winning the position with 27 votes (56%) over challenger John Wilsey with 21 votes (44%).
